What you need to know

• Minterus respects intellectual property rights and responds to valid notices under the DMCA.
• Send DMCA notices by email to [email protected] with a clear, complete submission.
• A valid notice must include a signature, identification of the copyrighted work, precise URLs of the material, contact details, and required statements.
• You may submit a counter-notification if you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
• We may limit or terminate access for repeat infringers and remove infringing material.

Our commitment to intellectual property

Minterus values the work of creators. We act on clear and complete notices consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and comparable principles. When we receive a qualifying notice, we may remove or disable access to the reported material and, where appropriate, notify the affected user.

Filing a notice (DMCA takedown)

To help us act quickly and accurately, your written notice must include all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are covered.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, including the exact URL(s) on minterus.com where the material appears.
4. Contact information for the complaining party, including full name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number.
5. A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that the disputed use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is the copyright owner or is authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Counter-notification

If your material was removed or disabled and you believe this was a mistake or a misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing all of the following:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location (URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Minterus may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or that person’s agent.

Send your counter-notification to [email protected] with “DMCA Counter-Notification” in the subject line. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the material not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days after we send the counter-notification.

Repeat infringer policy

We may suspend, limit, or terminate user accounts and/or the ability to submit or upload content for users who are the subject of multiple infringement notices. We may also remove or disable access to infringing material and use technical measures to prevent re-uploads of the same content where feasible.
